We are Wikimedia Ghana User Group, a community of volunteers who improve Wikimedia Foundation‘s projects in Ghana – especially the English Wikipedia – since 2012.
The community is also dedicated to increasing the number of Ghanaians editing the wikis by recruiting and training others to contribute and forming partnerships that promote this work.
We also run projects that focus on closing gender gaps, advocacy for laws that support free knowledge in Ghana and other digital literacy projects.
